I offer several different types of machine quilting services, completed to your specifications. Pricing is based on the type of quilting you would like done, and is priced by the square foot.
To figure out how many square feet your quilt is, multiply its length in inches by its width in inches and divide the result by 144 (now where did I put that calculator!). For example, a Queen sized quilt that is 80"x108" is 8640/144 = 60 square feet.
The prices below include your thread, but not the batting or backing fabric. If you would like me to supply the batting or backing fabric I am happy to do so -- please see below for pricing.
To make it easy and straightforward to ship your quilts to me, use the Quilt Preparation Checklist before you ship it. PLEASE INSURE YOUR QUILT TOP! Please call or email me before you ship your quilt so that I know it is coming and we can discuss your design. I will require full payment before I can return your completed quilt, please.
Edge-To-Edge Quilting - $2.50 per sq. ft. and up
Some people refer to this as "Overall Quilting" or "Meandering". It consists of one pattern or an overall meandering on the quilt. You can pick one of the many patterns I have or you can let me select a pattern that will flow with your quilt design.
Edge-To-Edge Quilting and One Border - $3.75 per sq. ft. and up
This is the same as Edge-To-Edge as described above with one difference; your quilt will have two pattern designs - one for the centre of the quilt and another for the border. It's a lovely effect.
Heirloom Quilting - $4.25 per sq. ft and up
This design is for the "extra special" quilts we all create from time to time and allows you to get really creative! You can use designs from my collection, send me your own, or I can create something unique for you. In addition, it includes quilting that will compliment your quilt's design such as in-the-ditch, background meandering, or some combination of patterns. These special quilts live on after we're gone, so they are worth the extra effort and expense!
Batting - If you require batting I can provide it for your quilt for $10 per yard
